Camouflage Bedding for the Baby Girl

by GuestPoster

Several years ago it would have been almost impossible to decorate a nursery for a baby girl in camouflage.  Of course, perhaps as the glass ceiling is cracking designers are becoming more aware that there is nowhere the little girl cannot go and cannot do as she grows into a young lady.  That includes enjoying the pattern that has been designated as “macho male” for decades.

Camo baby bedding has been available in the traditional jungle camouflage colors for years.  No expectant mother is going to decorate the nursery in olive drab and khaki if she knows a little girl is on the way.  But, who says she cannot decorate it in pink and khaki?  According to the top manufacturers of baby crib bedding, pink and khaki make a great combination, especially when used in camouflage bedding patterns.

Many of the designs for the little girl are so well done that the pattern is not overwhelming, but trimmed with the perfect shade of pink.  Occasionally the crib set will be reversible, offering another design on the other side of the comforter and bumpers.  For example, one delightful set seen recently shows a pink and khaki baby camouflage bedding print on one side and large khaki and brown polka dots on a pink or white background on the reverse side.

It bears noting that most of the camo baby bedding for girls is transitional in use.  While the primary intention may be to use it for nursery decor, when the little one moves up to the toddler bed the same set can be used.  This is particularly helpful as most parents have gone to great expense to decorate the nursery.  Being able to convert the crib to a toddler bed and the bedding from crib bedding to toddler bedding is a great financial savings as well as a timer saver.

With so many color combinations and patterns in camouflage bedding it is easy to see why it is now a favorite for little girls as well as little boys.
