If you and your future spouse are thinking about getting married in the fall one great way to really make your wedding and reception special, and keep costs down, is to make some beautiful yet inexpensive fall wedding centerpieces. There are many different ways you can go about doing this. Here is a look at a couple of options you might consider for you centerpieces.
One great way to represent fall is to do a centerpiece featuring a variety of fruits and nuts. First you will want to pick out a pretty decorative tray in a rich gold color or a bronze, then put some traditional fall fruits on it. This can include but is not limited to pears and apples, the choice of fall fruit might also vary with your location. Next put some acorns and walnuts around them. For extra color you could add some painted pine cones or nuts in a dark bronze, gold or silver.
Candles must be part of any inexpensive centerpieces. There are a number of different candles sizes and shapes, and colors choices are so numerous that I cannot even mention them. The head table might be able to support a larger pillar candle and then some smaller ones. Remember to stay with traditional fall colors such as gold, maroon, dark green and dark purple. Floating candles are also great for smaller tables as they really bring warmth to the table and give everything a beautiful ambiance.
Lastly for those who like something a bit different and who choose to get married around Halloween, you can do something fun. You could have a Halloween theme for your reception. You can opt to put a small carved pumpkin with some accents on the table. This can be a real pumpkin or a ceramic one. Naturally if you are going to use real ones do not carve them until the day of the wedding so they will remain fresh. Add some small accents like some fall leaves or some nuts and you have some great fall wedding centerpieces.
