Music is our living ground towards the soul. One can never imagine what is life and its essence without music. Music is everything to us. It allows us to recognize our feelings in reflection to the struggles and experiences we had in our lives. It defines us as a whole person. With the help of identified artists, we redefined music as something that is art, and is essential to the soul. It is what keeps us driven and rapturous.
Living legends transcends time. They are still here to share with us their music and versions of their chosen genre. They are our living grounds and ultimate inspiration in the appreciation of life and music. One of the most famous living legends is, Billy Joel. He is an American musician, pianist and singer-songwriter. He is remembered for his first hit song, the “Piano Man”. Another famous living legend known for being a blues guitarist and a singer-songwriter is B.B. King. An artist that is active in five decades and widely regarded as an innovator for music is David Bowie. Known for most of his work in 1970’s, Bowie mostly represents the face of glam rock. Another living artist is Carlos Santana, who became famous in the 60’s and 70’s who, together with his band collectively called as Santana pioneered rock, salsa and jazz. The band featured percussion instruments not usually heard in Rock music. Then, there’s Elton John who in four decades sold more than 250 million records popularizing the album, “Candle in the Wind”. He has also won five Grammy awards and other awards recognizing is contributions in the music industry. The Queen Rock band is also famous up to the present. They are the ultimate inspiration of rock after having introduced the single, Bohemian Rhapsody. A part from them is a famous contributor of metal rock, Ozzy Osbourne. He is a lead vocalist of a heavy metal band and spearheaded heavy metal genre.

Music shared by these living legends will always transcend through time and will be handed down by generations to generations. They are many if specifically identified but what’s important is we share with them the entity of music and life. They are living legends.
