Small corner sofas have changed the way designers and home owners decorate their homes. In fact, these sofas have become increasingly more popular than traditional sofas, and have changed the design world all together.
These small corner group sofas bring forth a better use of overall living space and increasing efficiency of the home. With traditional sofas and even sofa sets space has always been an issue in introducing more decorative touches to a room. The traditional sofas do not leave for extra room and limit the ways in which they can be placed within the living space. With the small corner style sofas this hindrance is alleviated since this type of sofa fits snugly in any corner.
Style choices are not limited either. Some corner sofas feature a chaise lounge while others have a recliner at one end. Depending on your preference these aspects are placed on either the right or left side of the corner couch. These small corner sofas come in styles with additional storage spaces as well. Choice of upholstery is only limited to indoor use for most in store purchases. However, specially ordered corner sofas can be covered in fabrics for outdoor use as well. Possible fabric choices include: leather, microsuede and in some cases corduroy. With so many fabrics available you can find find these sofas upholstered in close to any fabric imaginable.
Although these sofas are high in price; they are also high in quality. Most are handcrafted in fine leather without the springs found in traditional couches and sofas. This leaves for any repairs further down the road to be less expensive. After all in traditional styled sofas once the springs fall through, it is time to purchase a whole new couch. With these smaller sofas this is not the case.
This style of sofa can be decreased and/or increased in size if you purchase a modular style. The sections interlock at the sides and along the bottom. So if you need more couch space you can simply add another module. And at times when you do not need the extra sofa space, you can easily detach the module and store it. With these styles the modules are similar to the backseats of SUVs in that they will fold into a small easy to store shape.
