1. Use Google Webmaster, this is the best way of getting a fast Website listing in the Google Search Engine. It can take a few weeks to process depending on how many URLs that are in the system waiting to be listed. You can even check on the progress and many other details such as page listings and ranking, which are very handy if you want to fine tune your pages to get a higher page rank. http://google.com/webmasters
2. You could try manually listing your website directly through the Google URL submission page, this can take a little time longer to process, but like Webmaster you will eventually be listed. The big difference with this method is the ability to track you listing. The tools to do so are not facilitated like with the Webmaster program.
3. You could get list via one of the many services that offer multiple Search Engine listing. You do have to be aware of scams if you choose this method. Some of these exchanges are run by spammers and people who are phishing for information to sell on. So make sure you do some research the services you choose very carefully. These services can be paid and free it is entirely up to you.
Hopefully if you do get a good page rank in the Google or other Search Engines then you will get more quality traffic to your Website, thus make some money in the process.
