Later on, further innovations improved the Ovation guitars; multiple offset sound holes and composite tops were used. These notorious styles were pioneered by the Adamas model of 1977.

The number of Ovation enthusiasts grew and grew as the popular series were introduced like the Korean-built celebrity series.
